Shopify blog automation with SEO Autopilot
SEO Autopilot supports publishing articles to a Shopify blog through a connected account. The workflow combines keyword briefs, existing internal-link targets, content checks and the Shopify publishing adapter.
Select the destination blog
Configure and verify the Shopify connection and blog destination. The connector needs access to the selected blog; the article URL uses Shopify’s /blogs/{blog-handle}/{article-handle} structure.
Write with product context
Save the audience, tone, themes and exclusions in Brand DNA. Prepare a keyword brief and start a writer session. Use existing product facts and real source material rather than inventing product benefits.
Publish article metadata
The Shopify adapter sends article content and supported SEO metadata to the selected blog. Blocking content checks keep drafts in Review. Inspect the returned article URL after publication.
Example workflow
When adding an article to an existing store blog, retain the chosen blog handle. Use the brief’s canonical link candidates to connect the article to relevant existing content. The publishing adapter returns the Shopify article URL, which is also used for subsequent indexing and measurement workflows.

Requirements and limits
A Shopify connection does not guarantee indexing or AI citations. IndexNow requires a usable public key file; the existing indexing code checks this before submission, which matters for platforms that restrict root-level files.
